Absinthe

Absinthe is an elegant aperitif, always served diluted with ice water, and can be served with or without sugar. In the 19th century absinthe became inspiration to many artists and writers, and enjoyed immense popularity throughout Europe before its controversial ban in 1915. Decadent, romantic, let Polly introduce you to the green fairy.

Kübler 53%

Blackmint Distillery, Motiers, Switzerland

This classic Swiss La Bleue originates from the ancestral Kübler distillery in the Val de Travers. Jade PF 1901

Combier Distillery, Saumur, France

PF 1901 is a tribute to what is the best known and most widely sampled pre-ban absinthe. Reverse engineered from sealed bottles of vintage Pernod Fils, the PF 1901 is as close as you can get to imbibing pre-ban. The aroma brings a nice balance of the wormwood, anise and fennel with a bit of minty freshness. The flavor is a well balanced display of the anise and fennel blending with a flowery freshness. Very nice crisp wormwood finish. Silver Medal Winner - 2007 London IWSC

Jade VS 1898

Combier Distillery, Saumur, France

The distillery of C.F. Berger was founded in Couvet, in the canton of Neufchâtel, Switzerland in 1823. The distillery crafted Swiss style absinthes, the most famous was the C. F. Berger 65º degree absinthe verte, which earned its status as one of the premier absinthes of the 19th century. This Swiss absinthe was almost lost forever if it had not been for the resurfacing of original, unopened bottles, which Jade Liqueurs secured for preservation. Fragrant nose with floral notes, which are soon overtaken by the full power of wormwood, fennel, anise and hyssop. With a full and intense taste that displays why its ancestor was one of the top five absinthes of the 19th century Belle Époque period. Gold Medal & Best in Class - 2007 London IWSC

Jade Nouvelle Orléans 68%
